Start exploring by searching for data, or open a tool from the sidebar. Use the sidebar to navigate the workspace.
Industrial tools
➀ Home — go to the main workspace page to search or resume your activity. ➁ Collapse/expand — click the icon to collapse (<<) or expand (>>) the sidebar, for example, to free up extra space while you’re viewing a chart. ➂ Switch workspace — to switch to a different workspace, click the Industrial tools workspace name and then a workspace from the menu. ➃ Switch project — to switch to a different project, click the project name and then a project from the menu. ➄ Tools — select an industrial tool to find or analyze data.
To pick up where you left off, select a recent chart or canvas under Resume your activity.

Help and profile settings

Find more information and settings in the lower left part of the sidebar.

➀ Help and resources — find links to documentation, training, and Cognite Support. ➁ Settings — click your profile name to manage your profile and preferences.

AI document analysis

In some of the tools, you can use Explore with AI to summarize and ask questions about PDF files.
Explore with AI works best with PDF files up to 1 MB (approximately 500 pages). Other file types may work but aren’t officially supported.
Select Explore with AI to:
  • Summarize: Generate a summary of the document’s content.
  • Ask questions: Get answers about the document based on its content.
    You can ask questions about multiple PDF files in the following ways:
    • Search: Ask questions about files directly or indirectly linked to the main file on the Overview tab under Files.
    • Canvas: Select multiple documents before asking questions.
    • InField: Specify that you want information from several or all files.
