The 3D APIs let you store, process, and visualize 3D models in CDF. Connect 3D geometry to assets for contextual navigation, upload and process source files, and retrieve optimized output for rendering. Use these APIs to build applications that combine 3D plant models with live asset data.

  • 3D asset mapping — Map 3D nodes to assets for bidirectional navigation
  • 3D jobs — Submit and track 3D processing jobs
  • 3D contextualization (/3d/contextualization/...) — CAD, 360° imagery, and point cloud contextualization flows (create and delete contextualization resources per modality). These endpoints appear in the beta and alpha API references; they are not in the stable 20230101 OpenAPI bundle yet.
