The errors API gives you access to errors reported by an integration’s tasks. Errors are associated with the task and time range during which they occurred, so you can correlate failures with specific parts of an extractor’s work. You retrieve errors by listing them, optionally filtered by task or time range.

What integration errors are

An integration error is a problem an extractor encountered while running a task and reported to CDF. Each error is linked to the task it occurred in and includes a start time, plus an end time once the extractor reports it as resolved.

Listing and filtering errors

You can list all errors for an integration, or narrow the results to a specific task name or time window. This makes it possible to build alerting on new errors, or to investigate a specific incident by looking at what failed and when.
Combine error listing with task history to see the full picture: what was running, what failed, and when it recovered.
