Server requirements

You can install the extractor on a physical server or a virtual machine on-premises or in the cloud for service providers supporting containers, such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Memory

• Minimum: 2GB RAM / 30 GB storage.
• Recommended: 4GB RAM / 30 GB storage.

CPU

• Minimum: 2-core CPU.
• Recommended: 4-core CPU.

Software

• WITSML server compliant to Energistics WITSML 1.4.1.1 schema
• Container based environment (Docker)

Network access

• User name and password for connecting to the WITSML server.
• Access to Cognite's internal Docker registry. Contact Cognite Support to get access.
