Server requirements

You can install the extractor on a Windows physical server or a virtual machine on-premises alongside the Petrel environment.

Memory​

  • Minimum: 8GB RAM / 100 GB storage.
  • Recommended: 16GB RAM / 100 GB storage (intensive extractions / considerable amount of historical records).

CPU​

  • Minimum: 4-core CPU.
  • Recommended: 6-core CPU (intensive extractions / considerable amount of historical records).

Software​

  • Supported version: Studio for Petrel 2020.
  • Windows Server 2016 or later.
  • Studio Runtime 2020.
  • .NET Framework 4.8.0 or later.

Network access​

  • User or service account with access to Studio for Petrel data repositories.
  • A valid STUDIO_RUNTIME client license, included in Studio for Petrel environment.
