Cognite file extractor

The features described in this section are currently in Beta testing and are subject to change. We recommend that you don't use the features in production systems.

The Cognite file extractor connects to a number of sources, such as local file systems, SharePoint Online Document libraries, and several network sharing protocols, like FTP, FTPS, and SFTP, and extracts files into the Cognite Data Fusion (CDF) files service. You can configure the extractor with the file types you want to extract, set a maximum file size limit, and include metadata in the file upload.

The extractor is available as a Windows executable file.
