Server requirements

You can install the extractors on a physical server, on a virtual machine on-premises, or in the cloud for service providers supporting containers, such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and Amazon AWS.

Memory​

  • Minimum: 4GB RAM / 30 GB storage.
  • Recommended: 8GB RAM / 30 GB storage (intensive extractions / large amounts of historical records).

CPU​

  • Minimum: 2-core CPU.
  • Recommended: 4-core CPU (intensive extractions / large amounts of historical records).

Software​

  • For .jar installation: Java Runtime Environment is required.
  • For Docker container: Docker environment is required.

Network access​

  • Username and password for connecting to the Halliburton DSIS/EDM environment.
  • Network access with firewall openings to the CDF cluster and CDF project.
