# Organizations and projects

> Manage organizations and projects in Cognite Data Fusion (CDF).

Organizations and projects form the top-level structure of CDF. Organizations group projects and users, while projects are the primary data isolation boundary where all CDF resources live. Use these APIs to create and manage organizations, create projects within organizations, and configure identity provider (IdP) settings.
